I don’t think anybody really hates them, as it implies having some emotional investment. I think most people simply don’t care about them and/or find them unappealing. I’m surprised there is someone that genuinely likes their look. “Dragons” with big eyes, ears, hair, eyebrows, weird muzzles, tiny wings… eugh.

Chill, we are just exchanging opinions and preferences. Mind you, I’m not a big fan of G4 dragon designs either (especially the bipedal ones), but I think they still look better than G5. I wish they went with something with more edge, like this:

Like I said, I’m not trying to turn this into a G5 drama post on here. The dragons in G5 are way better than the G4 counterparts in my opinion because they were just big bullies to Spike and they did not care about him at all. The G4 dragons (except Spike, Ember and Smolder) I genuinely cannot stand, while Blaize Skysong, Luxxe, Leaf, Tumble, Fountain, Lava & Jade are way better. I have absolutely no issue if you dislike them but come on, at least give them a chance, and not turn this into a G5 drama post.

I’m with tyto4tme4l. These aren’t dragons. Those are crayon vomits of a toddler. G4’s dragons at least resembled Dragons and could look dangerous. They look as much like dragons as a pug resembles a wolf. The only positive that could ever be said about them is that they are at least quadrupedal.

Now, now. I’m not trying to turn this into a G5 drama post on here. The reason why I think that Blaize Skysong, Luxxe, Leaf, Tumble, Fountain, Lava & Jade seriously need more AI images and videos is because they look absolutely stunning in my eyes. People seriously need to give the dragons a chance.

I’m running ComfyUI on my old M1 iMac with 16 gigs of ram. I’m trying to generate video but all I get are blobs of color. I’m super new to using these tools and need to figure out how to make short clips to help me create music videos for my songs. Can anyone guide me to a forum that teaches video creation for feral pony body types?

Another tool to consider using is ControlNets. The exact details of each one vary and the different architectures of checkpoint don’t always have the same one, but the general idea is that they guide the model into making an image that fits an image put in. There’s usually one made specifically for guiding the model to make one that fits lineart.

To Vanisons post I like to add that the choice of checkpoint matters. Models like WAI heavily lean into anime esthetics for example. When your art style is the same, you can use that of course, but I’d suggest choosing a checkpoint that is more neutral or has greater range. Hyphoria is my model of choice and has a wide range of styles.
Also I would denoise even lower, 0.3 to 0.2 is the range I use to keep the basic picture and just enhance or add detail.

Img2Img on low Denoising… i’d say 0.38 or lower…
This example is a bit more assisted then your aiming for with Denoising at 0.5:
The closer to 0 the less the AI will interfere. The closer to 1 the more the Ai Will change things. As an example at least for the image I referenced this was the prompt I used:
masterpiece, high quality, best quality, detailed fur, detailed background, detailed body, detailed eyes, shimmering eyes, sparkling eyes, looking at another, blush, flirting, teasing, cute, ((full body)), (chibi:0.5), smile, playful, adorable, fluffy, (cute eyes), open mouth, highres, 4k, 8k, brown fur, depth of field, smooth, sharp focus, peaceful, happy, serene, serenity, peaceful, relaxed, relaxing

My testing has been sidelined by a new project of mine over the last few days. I’m back in the saddle for a moment to post a few further reports about Text-To-Video. I had written up a veritable essay and then my GPU overheated and crashed my PC, so … Summarize time.
General Recommendation: don’t use Text-to-Video for NSFW. At all. Vulvas are misplaced, penises are wrong, anuses won’t draw no matter what you try, and it’s generally awful in every respect except the bizarre accuracy of nipple placement: I couldn’t get it to draw chest boobs without directly prompting for human breasts.
For SFW stuff, its okay as long as you are using characters it knows.

It can do Image-to-Video NSFW out of the box without any jailbreaking or LoRAs. Next tests are gonna be focused on what kinds of pony-specific poses it can handle for sexual positions, if it understands various anatomically correct sexual structures with or without reference images, and how it handles prompts with object manipulation.

Cutie Mark Accuracy is generally quite suspect across the board. Character accuracy varies by shot but is mostly accurate for most ponies most of the time–if it knows the character.
