If that’s the lesson you learned from your crowd, I’ve go to say that there are a bunch of toxic posers in it. In all the years that I upload AI I haven’t had these kind of complaints at all, and I unintentionally starve my followers with my content.

Aside from that and AI, for me it has always been literally impossible to predict the reaction of the crowd. One time I made a painting in 2 hours because of a deadline and the reception was so grand that it got stolen from me within a week. The other time I spent months making another painting and the general reception was ‘‘meh, don’t like it’’.
So, you can go with your own flow and attract a crowd that fits with you or you can follow a toxic crowd and spiral into an unpleasant direction.
