Upcoming Change: "Prompter:" & "Artist" becomes "Creator:"

Hello Everypony (and other creatures),

Around 9 months ago we asked the community about a possible change in the creator tags. Out of a poll that consisted out of both the community and the staff it turned out that a majority was for combining the “Prompter” & “Artist” tags into one unified tag while leaving the creator tag seperate.
Four months ago i came back and asked both the community and Staff what the new name would be for this combined tag, A majority of both the Comunnity and the staff voted for the name “Creator:”
So now is the time to implement this new tag.

On 21st of June this change will be implemented, this means that all the tags that have “Prompter:(username)” & “Artist:(Username)” will be changed into “Creator:(Username)”
The “Editor:(Username)” will remain for images that are edits of another creator’s AI image.

If there are any further questions about this change i am happy to answer them to the best of my ability.

No, here is a link to the forum post where i counted all of the votes from both community and staff. Keeping it seperate had the lowest amount of votes.

You know, AI changed a LOT these 9 last months.
You may want to run the pool again, probably by putting a banner in the top for a week or two.
Because you are going to take a decision taken by basically a dozen people 9 months ago.
I can only speak for myself, and I have nothing against AI art, but would find it more fair to keep a tag like “AI” if you merge “prompter” and “creator”.
Like “Prompter:(username)” become “Creator:(username)”+“AI_used” and “Artist:(Username)” become “Creator:(Username)”.
It would be fairer while uniting the artist with only one “Creator” tag. (I don’t see what was bad about artist tho).
Just my two cents.

That forum post 9 months ago also had a banner when it was posted and people had 4 months the time to give there opinion on it.

There already exists such a tag, multiple to be exact.

Oh, great for the tags. Well, maybe check an append “AI Composition” or one of the other if none are present when converting “Prompter:” to “Creator:”.
Else, you will lose an important information about the art. Imho.
