Are those hoof-fingers?
Too bad, because it would be an epic scene otherwise.
Like, the action develops on Combat Outpost Pterippus. The war against the Sirens is going terrible, and this is the last redoubt separating the monstruous mass from the golden city of Zephyr Heights.
All pegasus able to fly have joined the militia, a last stand against the invaders. Dark smoke clouds roll in, the wild winds carrying the burning ashes of the Sirens wake, a promise of the fate awaiting for the ponies should they fail.
Commander Zipp Storm leads the unit, perched on the edge of the base. Ten thousand eyes fixed on her very moves and words, ready to scramble. With a single hoof gesture, she sends the troops forward.
Hundreds upon hundreds of wings take flight at the same moment, the booming sound of each flap deafening. With perfect synchronization, the squadrons dash to meet the massive onrushing horde as one.
The first clash is brutal.
Combatants of both sides drop like flies from the skies. Once glorious formations quickly devolve into a disorganized meelee, making it impossible to distinguish friend from foe.
At first, the crude battle was pointing towards the pony victory… That didn’t last. The Sirens, more experienced on wild fights, were slowly getting the upper hand.
Commander Zipp watched with deep sorrow the events unraveling before her as more and more ashes were blown towards her position. With another gesture, she commanded the last of her reserve troops to join the fray. Too few, too late.
The future of her race, millions of innocents, rested on her hooves. She had to do something, but what?
Then, she adjusted her goggles, teeth clenched and fire burning on her eyes.
She knew.
They’re hoof attachments. They can be used both for combat and object manipulation.
