My headcanon: The first cake was the one she made for Snail’s cutecenera (sp?).

I don’t have any idea for the artistic need for a large slice being pre-missing from the base of the second one, but I DO think there is a legitimate one, rather than just Pinkie being unable to resist snacking on it.
