That would agree with the interpretation of her by Estee, the writer of “idyllically cynical” fanfiction, whose version of Equestria takes what we see in the show seriously/literally in regards to the mental stability of every Pony in Equestria and levens it with sensationalist journalism (which is a VERY dangerous thing in the herd-minded species) and other ongoing challenges which the still-crazy heroes (including the more everyday sort) must endlessly labor against.
