I decided to embrace the
Prompter:VensionCreamPie Tag again for some of my works so I can resume uploading pieces that I am happy with but don’t have the mertis of earning my Artist:VenisonCreamPie Tag.So yes, I know the style break in the close up are a bit unsettling and the background changes between the panels xD it is why I didn’t bring this over in the first place.

To be fair the show kinda inconsistent with the ages, for example if you take one of AJ’s flashbacks, you can see Apple Bloom as a baby but AJ doesn’t have a cutiemark, making the CMC or at least Apple Bloom, older than Spike.
Look at Twilight in the flashback to the day she hatched Spike; she’s around 3-5 in human years, and Rarity is around the same age on the same day in her own flashback. The CMCs are that age outside the flashback, and the mane 6 appear to be in their young adulthood; ergo, Spike would be an adolescent assuming he matures at a similar rate to ponies. He’s only kept the form of an infant due to a general lack of greed as discussed in Secret of My Excess.
