Disclaimer: I understand that people strongly argue that ai generated art isn’t seen as real art and to that I agree. But that being said, I did have some fun with this.
I wish I could do digital drawing to the quality that I see many users reach…
Well, even if AI-generated images are not art, they are a great tool. It is like a distilled essence of technically advanced art pieces. I’ve been using AI images to study color and shading for a while now; their meaningless and sometimes abstract nature lets you concentrate on bigger shapes, contrast, and lighting, without overthinking other aspects of an image. You can also use it to get inspired and find ideas for your own art - a problem that I struggled with my entire artistic way. I think that this is just foolish to ignore the possibilities that come with AI, since, well, the models already exist and seem not to go away any time soon.
Sooo if you’d like to improve your digital art skills you can try to study and replicate the art you enjoy, both made by artists and by AI.
