Yes. And as you stated you didn’t happen to have watched it, you were not among the people I thought might be amused by my comment. If you were anyway, I am glad!
Let’s just say that dropping your sword would be an unlikely tactic in that anime. The swords aren’t treated with reverence by anyone but the swordsmith (who will beat you black and blue or worse if you don’t take good care of it), but they are valuable tools made from ore that is dangerous to obtain.
