Yeah, looking back at it, the tells are obvious (I noticed the misshapen horn and irises, but I didn’t notice the scales or the mane). I guess image gens still aren’t great.

i agree it’s a nice picture, but i can see more than a few ‘tells’.
namely, the scales not going all the way down her back, the horn having three parts instead of two (ai models tend to mess up kirins’ horns), the eyelashes not being too consistent, that lock of hair which doesn’t have a curl and just has a nudule, and the biggest one, the ‘ringed’ eyes that seem to have two sets of irises (ai models love those).
sorry, i just have a good eye for this sort of thing.
Sometimes I am genuinely impressed with how close AI images can come to looking like digital artwork made by an artist. This is an example of that. It’s a simple image, but it would be really hard to tell it was AI and not made by a brony artist. Maybe the fuzziness of the image would give it away, but I would attribute that to being the resolution of the image rather than the AI image generator.
