They walk up to Pipette, ask a couple of questions, then put on sunglasses. The unicorn puts an object on his horn and says “Miss, please look this way.” A blinding flash of light fills her eyes and she goes catatonic. “That was no UFO you saw. A buildup of gas from Froggy Bottom Bogg ignighted and lit up the sky.” said the other pony. The two suited ponies go back to their carriage and drive away.

1 and 2 have continuity errors (no clean-up, as you said). The rest seem to me, at least at this late hour, to be, at worst, weird choices of camera movement. The Alicorns/Unicorns made of nebulae and stars are the sort of thing that provokes fanfics (probably not by me, and not necessarilygood ones, but quite possibly so)?
