I understand why there is a lot of negative discussion about AI, though. It is a legit threat to a lot of creative jobs.
I don’t mind AI, but I also don’t really consider it superior to traditional art in any way. Nor do I see it as a replacement. I think both have their purposes, and we should not be replacing one with the other. Especially since AI algorithms, at the end of the day, need traditional art to train off of.

“Pick up a pencil” Was thrown by AI haters at AI users, mostly on reddit. “Break the pencil” was their answer. I consider this knowledge a waste of brain space.
I don’t like Reddit. I think it is a toxic landfill of bad opinions and possibly the largest echo chamber on the Internet.
