To be clear: I never disliked the image.
I didn’t perceive your original comment that way but it would have been okay if it where, critique is always welcome.
Regardless of the image, I do find it fascinating that the height difference between a pony and a draft horse can reach or even exceed a meter (at their shoulders) and funny that everything from fans projects to LLMs and even the original show pitch from Lauren Faust herself agree unanimously that Rainbow Dash should be smol.

If I’m not mistaken, Rainbow Dash being smaller than the rest of the mane 6 was in FiMs show bible. I guess even DHX had to be economical at the time and they revisited the idea with Pip in G5.
As extreme as their scales might seem in this picture such size differences do exist between equine breeds in the real world.

I have seen fanons that, when not constrained by the need to use the same animation rig for economy, Rainbow Dash is the smallest of the Mane Six, and Applejack the biggest (or at least the most massive, some might have Fluttershy as a bean-pole)… but this takes that to extremes.
