It was upon hitting the third layer of defenses that she revised her estimate.
"Simple"? Maybe.
"Easy"? Not QUITE so much.

The ones in the air might have a separate magic on them to allow flight, or could be modeled with [this monster](https://www.d20pfsrd.com/bestiary/monster-listings/undead/isitoq/) from Pathfinder.
