The mattress made of grass, or comforter made to look like grass is actually less weird to me than her being so bold as to have a toy of herself. The first could be “nature girl” or “Discord”. The second is just odd, and not Discord as sort of odd… again, to me.
On further thought, maybe she just has a lot of miniature sculptures, and hers and Apple looks happened to end up on the bed. Either all the sculptures are the same height, or this is after Applebloom grew up.
