My more serious take on it is that she has started even earlier than this on getting her husband-in-a-few-minutes worked up by challenging him to keep up with her on the wedding night. Because sex to her is a cooperative *sport* (which she has never played to this point) and she wants the best from (and for) her teamMATE... but a close second to that is that she still wants the MVP award.
