Starlight Glimmer as Scoop, the G.I. Joe combat information reporter.

Why I chose Starlight for this role - in the DIC animated miniseries “Operation Dragonfire” that picked up where G.I. Joe The Movie left off, Scoop was introduced as a villain - a Cobra spy that infiltrated G.I. Joe. However, over the course of the episodes, Scoop has a change of heart and switches sides, becoming a full-on G.I. Joe for real. Starlight Glimmer likewise was initially introduced as a villain that also put on a friendly face, but was eventually redeemed and became a full on supporting character in FiM.
