You might try using one of signature removal tools they’ve got listed to remove it if you like. Personally, I like to use the Lama Cleaner.

Are you running Imagen locally or on a site? I use the checkpoint in Nightcafe and it hasn’t been adding that watermark.

Imagen seems to put out sharper details than Chatgpt.

Admittedly it looks more like some kind of AK/AR hybrid, which is a bit odd as usually when you prompt for “assault rifle,” Imagen will give you either one or the other.
