My headcanon: She has her bucket of star paint with her, although what is on her brush right now is for the black bits between the stars. She’s still catching up on maintenance and artistic updates after her banishment, but progress is good. She uses the fireflies for inspiration… Or perhaps those are stars she painted in the air, and now that they have dries she is going to send them reverse-shooting-staring up to the positions they were individually crafted for?

This is getting too Dashabuse for my comfort…
Repeatedly tripping over her own ego was fine, although less so as the series went on… Getting temporarily maimed because of a communication error? Not so much…

I wish we were at this level locally…

Out of world… Make up an explanation. Any explanation. He’s Discord. He often does stuff “Just ’cuz.”, although post Fluttershy and when not beguiled by Tirek, he does filter out MOST of his villainous impulses, although there was that time he almost threw Tree Hugger into a dimension of hand puppets, and failing to own up to the plunder vines.

Normally I’d be opposed to the drug use motif here, but Chrysalis rotting her brain with a bong would probably turn out significantly better for the world as a whole, and maybe even Chrysalis herself. If one must have a super-powered individual consumed by one of “The Seven Deadly Sins”(1), then Sloth is the one that is likeliest to reduce the total harm inflicted.
(1)Quote marks because I don’t consider them deadlier to the soul than any other sins.

Yes, I know it doesn’t have the side-spout to be a bong, but one could assume that was a generation error, and her expression and the Whispersync coming out of her mouth support that over it being a potion.

Yeah, not sure why this is getting the downvotes, as a little thought and Occam’s Razor implies that Fluttershy has NOT embraced one of the most hateful philosophies in recent history, but instead destroyed it at the most obvious vulnerability…

Meh… I’ll put it down to knee-jerk reactions.

(Although, for all “going back in time and killing (or in this case, preemptively reforming) Hitler” is a common topic of discussion in fiction, I’m not sure if the removal of even such a charismatic individual would realistically alter an overall culture? I guess it might leave the conquests of Germany about the same, or even tip the war in their favor, while preventing The Holocaust? Germany WAS chafing under the tight restrictions placed on them after WWI, and it might not be so easy to stop that anger… but redirecting it seems plausible? Not talking (either way) about justice regarding the restrictions, just probable results.)
